The Bible states clearly that “You shall know the truth and it will set you free.” It hurt to see many people saying that the Church is silent and neutral of the truth. Despite the fact that silence is golden, Nation building involves the clergy and if they choose to remain neutral in times of great moral conflicts, disaster awaits the country.
The revered preacher who stood in front of multitudes to sermonize sought to clarify things with respect to unity among the political elites of the country. He delivered a powerful message which received a thunderous applause from party faithfuls who had congregated to offer thanksgiving to the most high God.
Many Ghanaians who sighted the video were taken aback to have heard the man of God freely ministering without an iota of fear even in the presence of the first gentleman of the land. His action has been commended by a section of the public who deems it necessary for the church to be speaking truth to power on a daily basis.
