Hon. Mubarick Masawudu, a member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) communications team and a parliamentary hopeful from Asawase, says the NDC has not been shaken by the New Patriotic Party’s newly elected national executives (NDC).
In his view, there is nothing new about the newly elected party executives.
According to the parliamentary hopeful, his party is not threatened by the new crop of NPP leaders, who were asked by Joy Prime’s “The Big Interview” host KMJ if his party is threatened.
Akufo Addo-led NPP government’s abysmal performance in all sectors of economy will make it difficult for newly elected NPP executives to defend the party, according to Hon. Masawudu.
With a 19-year high inflation rate, bank interest rates moving around 30 percent, and your currency depreciating against the US dollar by about 25 percent, we have all these odds…. According to Hon. Masawudu of the NPP, “If you look at what is happening in our schools…the feeding issues that our schools have…the cost of living, the cost of fuel for instance…all of these do not work in the favor of the newly elected executives of the NPP.”
