The ruling New Patriotic Party government has come under so much criticism for the management of the country. Perhaps, President Akufo-Addo is also winning the race as the most vilified president of the Fourth Republic. Many have questioned the competence of some of the ministers of the government and raised issues regarding reshuffling. Three of the most talked about minister include Ken Ofori Atta, Kweku Agyemang Manu and Akoto Afriyie.
On Pan African TV’s Alhaji and Alhaji today, Saturday, July 30, 2022, Murtala Mohammed, MP for Tamale Central boldly insisted that Ghanaians are going through economic hardships because the country is in the hands of ‘Dadabees’. According to him Akufo-Addo and his boys have never witnessed poverty and so cannot empathize with what Ghanaians are going through.
Narrating his youthful stage, Murtala explained that he attended a government poverty stricken school and so had to work his way up as against Akufo-Addo and Ofori Atta who he argued attended big international schools’ ad so not fit to handle the affairs of the country.
Looking at the face of his co-panelists, he pointed to the host, Sena Nombo and said that he can see from his face that he attended a government school Popularly called ‘Syto’. This called laughter among the panelists who couldn’t help but laugh. Murtala explained that when he sees people who have suffered to rise he can identify them and such people are careful to manage resources when they are given.
