The finance minister today has delivered the mid year budget review as expected in parliament as he updated the general public on government’s plan with respect to the economy and its finances.
It was captured in the mid year budget review that, all new roads will have toll booths to take road levies from users in order to make some compensations to the monies government spent. Other social initiatives like the free senior high school will undergo no review as rumors were stating as well as the sorting of the plights of NABCO trainees and personnel.
Government will implement programmes such as the YouStart to enhance the skills of Ghanaians to increase productivity in both the public and private sector of the economy to drive our transformation agenda, he added.
The sector minister after making clear the initiatives should have Brennan applauded, he rather received massive reactions from the minority group as they pushed for his resignation as finance minister which has been the sole prayer of many Ghanaians. In a news sighted on Metropolitan Tv via their official twitter page is a video of minority chanting heavily against the finance minster pushing his resignation as the majority in the other side were head hailing the finance minister and singing patriotic songs.
