John Mahama Is Likely To Stay In Power For More Than One Term After 2024 – Former MCE Explains

The former Municipal Chief Executive for the Ejisu Municipality, Afriyie Yamoah Ponko has dropped some revelations that may seem surprising to many.

Speaking on Okay FM this morning, the former MCE revealed that John Dramani Mahama is likely to be in power for more than one term. He added that John Mahama will surely win the 2024 elections and again win the 2028 elections.

The host of the show made it clear to Yamoah Ponko that what he is saying doesn’t seem right because every president is entitled to be in power for at most 8 years. Yamoah Ponko revealed that the constitution of Ghana doesn’t mean that.

He explained and revealed that the constitution says that no President can be in power for more than 8 years consecutively. This means that John Mahama is likely to be in power in 2024 and also after 2028 if he wins both elections.
