Raymond Ablorh, a journalist and former Communications Manager at Airtel Ghana, has asserted that Akufo-Addo would have appointed Kwaku Anyidoho as his Minister for Graves and Mortal Remains if he was to appoint new ministers.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Saturday, 23rd July 2022, he wrote;
“The good news is that in his second term and in this financially precarious situation government finds herself, President Akufo-Addo has no motivation to appoint a new Minister.Â
Otherwise, I bet he would appoint Koku Anyidoho as his Minister for Graves and Mortal Remains.”
Raymond Ablorh added that there are more than enough foot soldiers to defend and explain the need for such awesome ministry (ministry of Graves and mortal remains) that shall ensure after all our sufferings here we shall have a good rest in ultra-modern tombs and cemeteries.Â
“Nothing is unthinkable to these people.” He said. Raymond also quizzed the exact work of the Ministry of Monitoring and Evaluation.
“What and who did the Minister of Monitoring and Evaluation monitor and evaluated?” He asked.
Background
An aide to former President John Evans Atta Mills and founder of the Atta Mills Institute, Samuel Koku Anyidoho, has recently been in the news for tampering with the late Atta Mills grave.
Brother of the late President and Member of Parliament for Komenda-Edina-Eguafo Abirem, Samuel Atta-Mills addressed the press in Parliament on Tuesday and said Koku Anyidoho together with the Coastal Development Authority had tampered with the tomb without recourse to the family.
Following that Koku Anyidoho, has denied that claims and even asked the late Atta Mills brother to show the autopsy report of Atta Mills.
