Ghanaian international Emmanuel Agyemang Badu is set to join Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko after agreeing a personal term with the Kumasi-based side. Emmanuel Agyemang Badu will be signing a one deal with the porcupine warriors, with an option to extend.
Sources closer to the club have hinted that the two parties, that is, Asante Kotoko and Emmanuel Agyemang Badu are working on few details and clauses before the official announcement will be made in coming weeks.
It is understood that there will be a clause which will allow the player to leave Asante Kotoko at anytime should there be offers from outside. Terms to be associated with that clause is under discussion and will be fine-tuned in few days time.
Per arrangements, an official announcement will be made once the details are settled on and he will be part of the club’s contingent for CAF Champions League. He is expected to add extra bite to Asante Kotoko at the continental level.
Emmanuel Agyemang Badu – a former player of Asante Kotoko – has been around after attempts to secure a foreign deal proved unsuccessful. He has indicated readiness to play for any local side that shows interest and is able to meet his demands.
