Captain Maxwell Mahama’s death trembled the heart of many Ghanaians. It happens when the president was fully fighting against illegal mining “Galamsey”. He was lined by residents in Denkyira Obuasi who mistake him for an armed robber. The case is still not closed.
In today’s proceedings Assemblyman from Denkyira Obuasi who is also part of the trials reveals a secret about what happened. According to Assemblyman William Baah when he and two other persons approached the late Maxwell Mahama he pointed a gun at them. They didn’t go further to interrogate him so they left the place with the Okada rider.
William Baah is being charged with abetment and the other 13 are charged with conspiracy and murder. The case has been adjourned to 17th October 2022. Since the investigation is still going on.
