Adwoa Sarfo Exposes Majority Leadership for Shielding Another Absentee Female MP for Two Years

The NPP Member of Parliament, Serah Adwoa Safo, has exposed the leadership of the Majority in Parliament for shielding another female MP who was absent from her Parliamentary duties for two years but the same people are calling her out in just few months.

According to Serah Adwoa Safo, when she was the Leader of the Female Caucus, together with the Leadership of the Majority protected another female Member of Parliament of the New Patriotic Party for almost two years without Ghanaian knowing about it. Though she withheld the name of the said MP.

She lamented that if the the Leadership of Majority together with her shielded another female colleague for two good years why can’t they do the same for her but are rather dragging her name out there.

Serah Adwoa Safo who expressed her disappointment in the leadership of the Majority said, the team of the just ended National delegates Congress reminded her of the past she just exposed. She want the party to hold one another and cover each other rather than washing their dirty clothes in the public domain.

She said via a post on Facebook “The theme for this year’s Conference, Holding Together, Working Together resonates so much with my current circumstances and brings back memories of my time as the Deputy Majority Leader in the 7th Parliament where, as Leader of the Women’s Caucus, together with the Leadership of the Majority did our very best to protect a colleague female Member of Parliament who had to be away in London for close to two years to take care of family issues. We did this on compassionate grounds because it involved Children and didn’t go round making hue and cry about her absence. This is just one example of how we protected one of our own as Leaders in Parliament.”
