The struggle for royal inheritance.

Released in the year 2022 in the month of June is a universal pictures product. Shown by Netflix. It’s a movie which takes it storyline from ancient times when the struggle for power through family inheritance was the norms of society.

The storyline is about the fight for a kingdom in a royal family. Throughout the ages in the royal house, the kingdom was always taken by force from the ruling king. The taking is done through the killing of the ruling king by his brother and the murder of his entire bloodline. 

It was now the known way of being a king in the royal family. It came down to the era of a new king,whom was also destined to be murdered by his brother to take the throne and that of his entire family.

The king returned from a three year war feeling weak and fearing he might not live to see his young boy grown into a full grown man. As such,he took his son to their sacred place to bestow the throne to his son before his passing away. 

In the process, the boy was shown the family tree from the beginning of time. All his ancestors and whoever has sat on the throne as a king, him, which he is about to take over from his father.

After the ceremony, immediately they came out of the sacred place,they were attacked by some horsemen and his father immediately told him to run.

The boy ran on top of his speed and hid behind a tree from a nearby forest only to witness his father’s head cut off by his uncle. The boy was being hunted by his uncle but he escaped. 

About seven years, the uncle ruled as king. The boy now grown up,swore to avenge parents and take back his kingdom.

Many of struggle made forgetful of the past, but he was reminded of it through a dream and he awoke to carry out his revenge.

Through his battling career,he was called ‘THE NORTHMAN ‘ and hence the title of the movie.
