Popular blogger and writer Boga Ali Hashim is not thrilled with the way Western Region bloggers are being handled.
Empire 102.7 FM in Takoradi quoted him as saying that regional artists, promoters, and influencers have little interest in blogs.
He said even when bloggers in the area do a story for a brand, they find it difficult to share, but the same people will pay a blogger from Accra to write and share such stories for them.
“Bloggers in the area need to be acknowledged for their work and not be forced to wait until they need them the most before they begin searching for them, or else they will be charged before writing about or blogging about them,” he said.

When asked whether bloggers and industry professionals need each other, Ali concluded that they do.
