‘I didn’t kīll Kofi B’ – Ofori Amponsah finally breaks silence two years on » ™

– –

Highlife music fans were devastated to learn that musician Kofi B, real name Kofi Boakye Yiadom, had passed away on February 2, 2020.

Soon after his passing, several people claimed that Ofori Ampnsah, who is said to have cursed him, was responsible for his death.

Ofori Amponsah reported that Kofi B died of a heart condition two years after his friend’s passing, dispelling any suspicions of him taking the life of his former friend.

“Kofi B had heart problems way back. He had an issue with blood pressure. It was by the grace of God that he lived up to the age he finally died. People are just not telling the truth; this is the story, we all knew that my brother was suffering from this”.

Ofori Amponsah answered firmly, “Never,” when asked if he had actually slain his brother Kofi B.

He added that he had also overheard someone making a similar claim in an interview but had refrained from responding.

“If there is anyone I have helped in the industry, then it must be Kofi B”.

He admitted that he moved Kofi into the residence that Daddy Lumba had given him, and that he assisted Kofi in the recording of his debut album when Ofori Amponsah had not.

“When I had not released an album, I was looking for sponsorship for Kofi B. People even laughed at me when they hear this. All the hit songs of Kofi B are mine. Counting from “Yaw Dompre”, “Mobro Wa”, Koforidua Flowers” among others.” Ofori Amponsah told TV XYZ in an interview.
