Eid Mubarak or Eid ul Adha is a festival celebrated by Islam all over the world. Muslims celebrate this festival to remember the obedience of Ibrahim as he tried to sacrifice his son Ismael to Allah after he was commanded by Allah. At the altar of sacrifice, Allah provided Ibrahim with a Lamp to substitute for his son as a sacrifice. During this festival, Muslim slaughter animals to prepare food for their family and friends. Some of the meat is distributed to the poor and the needy in the community.

Cattle is the animal that is commonly used during this festival. Some families also used goats, sheep and camels. During this festival, Muslims gather at the mosque to worship, and pray and thanked Allah for his protection and blessings. Muslims celebrate this festival for three days.
