Today’s episode on Newsfile on Joy News was a massive one because of the debate between two key guests who were invited for the show. John Jinapor and Afenyo Markin were the guests for the show and they both helped in the discussion of several trending issues in the country.
Speaking about the issue of high fuel prices in the country, John Jinapor made a comment that may seem surprising to many. According to him, there seems to abundant of fuel in the country at the moment. He added that even though there is enough fuel in the country, the prices of them are far too expensive.
He added that he has made some calculations on his own and he is sure that in September, there will be fuel shortage in the country. He is therefore urging the government to act now before it is too late.
“My final words is that we can do something if we put things within the right perspective. Because looking at my tabulation and calculation, if we don’t even take time, by September, fuel or the availability of fuel will be a major problem for this country. Now the fuel is available and expensive. If we don’t do things immediately, by September, we will have fuel shortages” he said.
After making this comment, the host of show, Samson Lardy revealed that IGP Akufo Dampare must be called so that this information would be made available to him for the necessary actions to be taken.
“We have to call Dampare here because this is fear and alarm” he said.
