Following the announcement of the arrival of some players into Black Stars of Ghana, a possible line up has emerged, looking at positions to be occupied by players at this year’s World Cup. The line up takes the shape of 3 – 5 – 2 formation.
Goalkeeper Joseph Wollacott comes into the goal post, having had the opportunity to man the post for Ghana.Â
Daniel Amartey, Alexander Djiku and Salisu Mohammed come into the line up as the three defenders. Daniel Amartey stands between Djiku and Salisu as the duo handle the right and left side of defense.Â
Tariq Lamptey and Gideon Mensah operate as wing backs in the line up, with Tariq Lamptey going for right side as left side is taken care by Gideon Mensah. As wing backs, they have the mandate of joining attack and tracking back to defend when Ghana loses balls.Â
Three players are left in the centra part of the field. Thomas Partey of Arsenal fame holds the base of midfield, while Kudus Mohammed and Daniel Kofi Kyereh stars in front of Thomas Partey. Thomas Partey will play as the holding midfielder whiles Kudus Mohammed goes behind the the forwards as the supplier. He will be supplying assists while trying and individual effort if he pounces on a loose ball.
In attack, Dede Ayew and Inaki Williams take charge according to the probable line up. They will split positions and operate from their favorite angles. Goals will form the basis of their mandate and may be supported by other players when the need arises.
This probable line up is tipped to be the ideal choice heading into the World Cup, later this year in Qatar. Ghana is expected to make an impact in the tournament, with many setting semis as the ultimate target. The probable line up make it doable.
