The heavy downpour today, 5th July 2022 in the Greater Accra Region has rendered many people homeless. The rain started early in the morning and ended between10:00 am and 11:00 am. Watching the screenshots from the video in this article, you can see an entire vicinity has been flooded after the heavy downpour.
According to the person who posted this video on social media, this sad incident took place in Adabraka, Greater Accra Region. If you watch the video very well, you can see that the level of the flood is very high that women and children cannot swim to a safe location. The water is also full of dirty particles and some of these dirty particles can even cause harm to people who are swimming.
However, two young men and an elderly man were seen rescuing women and children to a safe location. One young man carries the lady and the other received her on the other side of a fence wall where the level of the flood is low. An elderly man was also seen swimming in this river with a little child on his back. The level of the flood shows that most of the properties in these people will get destroyed.
