The anger surrounding government’s decision to go to IMF has triggered a top Campaigner to leave the NPP.
A top Campaigner for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo in both his 2016 and 2020 bid has left the party. According to him, he is done with the NPP.
Earlier on, Mr. Johnny April had written a very long letter to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and the NPP over his frustration over the electronic levy tax. His anger worsened after it emerged that the government has initiated plans to go to the International Monetary Fund for a bail out.
“In 2016,we were all so fed up with Mahama’s government and we needed change badly. That’s what pushed us to NPP in our numbers but today, I’m done with the NPP officially” Johnny April announced his resignation on Facebook.
Many Ghanaians Johnny April have complained bitterly about governments IMF bail out.
