The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu recounts the day Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo approached him and said he will not come to the Ashanti Region anymore due to the crowd.
According to John Boadu, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo informed him that he will be visiting the Ashanti Region every Monday of each week.
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo visited the Ashanti Region as promised and the crowd to receive him was many to the extent that he lost absolute control and could not further his speech.
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo could not withstand and control the crowd so he reversed his promise and told John Boadu that he will not come to the Ashanti Region anymore because if it happens, the purpose of his presence will not be fulfilled.
John Boadu recounted this after the host of the program questioned him on the specific days he use to go to his office.
