The Ghana Football Association has announced a new date for the start of 2022/23 season. The Ghana FA announced that the next season’s football that is the 2022/23 season of the GPL will commence on the weekend of September 9 to September 12, 2022, across all nine Premeir league match venues in this country. This news has made many football fans in this country very exited as they can’t wait to see their beloved players back on the pitch.
Although the FA have released the starting date, it is yet to released the fixtures as they are expected to release them on Tuesday 26th June 2022. From the look of things, it seems many Ghanaians now have been following our league matches and has started to revive the love they once had for their team. This also calls for a kind of celebration as the FA has done a good job.
The GFA also stated that the 2022/23 calendar will make a room for a break in November and December 2022 for the hottest and well admired football competition that is the World Cup which will happen in Qatar. As the known date for next season has been revealed, many Ghanaians have asked the FA to be discipline and able to eliminate any fixed matches in our league.
