A lady named Mercy from the Volta Region was staying in Kubease when she met her husband also known as Cosmos Inkoom. They went to stay at her mother-in-law’s house a few months after they got married. After they gave birth to two children, her husband stopped the work he was doing and went to help his father with his work at Atimatim.
The man advised her to go and stay with her mother at Volta region for a while due to the hardship they were going through. Mercy listen to her husband and she went back to her hometown. Three months later, her husband called and told her that she should not come back to his house again. She asked him why but Cosmos revealed to her that his father doesn’t want them to continue with the marriage. So he too has decided to divorce her.
The lady became sad and informed her mother about what her husband told her. Mercy said her mother advised her not to listen to what Cosmos told her but she should go back to Kumasi without his knowledge. When she got home, her husband was not in the house but his siblings asked her when will she go back to her hometown. Mercy continued that both of the family met to solve their marital issue, but still, her husband insisted that both his parents don’t support their marriage, so he too can’t stay with her.
Mercy then went back to her parents house, she tried to call Cosmos and asked for money but it was another woman who pick up his call. According to Cosmos, they are living peacefully and have not divorced his wife. He claimed that he is working with his father at different places whilst his wife is staying with her parents, that’s why they are not staying together. He concluded that he has been providing them with everything they need but still his wife always accused him of having another girlfriend which is never true.
