A young lady has been recorded on camera reacting sadly after the banku she is preparing fell off the fire. One cannot tell what actually caused the banku to fall off the fire but you can see the banku in a different place as the banku pot is also in a different place.
This lady was driving the banku on a gas cylinder. As many Ghanaians are aware, banku is best prepared on a coal pot or a traditional stove (mukyia). However, this lady decided to prepare a banku on a gas cylinder and didn’t go well for her.
Preparing a banku on a gas cylinder is difficult because the pot looks unstable and shaky while driving it. The lady was seen looking at the banku with a sad face. It seems she used her last money to prepare the banku only for it to get destroyed in the end.
Some Ghanaians after coming across this said that if they were to be in the lady’s shoes, they will have taken the topmost part of the banku from the floor and eaten it like that.
