Renowned Ghanaian musician, Livingstone Etse Satekla who is widely known as Stonebwoy has revealed one observation he has made about the recent floods in Accra.
Each year, Accra floods, however, this year has been one of the worse as several places in the capital city get flooded very easily.
Many people have shared their thoughts and the latest to join the list is Stonebwoy who shared his thoughts on his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.
In his post, he indicated that previously there were places in Accra that did not flood, however, the situation has changed recently as these places are flooding massive, and to end his post, he quizzed about what will be the cause.

“I realize some Some places did not use to flood but now they have joined the flooding.. what could it be?”

@BlandiDoc – For me, I think it’s due to the ignorance and the fearless behavior of our people. Cuz I know very sure that @stonebwoy will do all the necessary surveys before buying and building on a land. Especially in Accra here which is prone to a whole lot of Natural disasters.
@nanambraharthur – This floods is more than we think the gutters alone is the problem. Buildings in water ways should be taken off to make way for a fast flowing when it rains else we’re still gonna experience this every year.
