The two police officers are Inspector Azumah Komla Justice and Felix Diameh. They effected an arrest on their colleague Police Officer, Lotsu Agbeko, who is stationed at the Former Police Unit in Accra. They arrested him because he was in possession of substances suspected to be Indian Hemp.
“The suspect failed to stop at the Have Police barrier where he was signalled by the officers on duty to do so. He was therefore givwn a chase and on reaching a section of the road, he was involved in an accident and had a fracture on his left hand… The police retrieved 84 parcels of compressed dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp from his car”, the report detailed.
This made Ghanaians to massively react. Some praised the Inspector General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare, for promoting the two Police men because, this will serve as an incentive to other Policemen.
