There have been 31 red cards issued out in the ongoing campaign in the 297 matches that has been played.
A total of 601 goals have been scored in the competition with champions Asante Kotoko being the most prolific upfront having scored 47 goals in the 33 matches they have played.
The Porcupines also have the best defensive record having let in 19 goals so far on their way to winning the title this season.
Their Cameroonian striker Frank Etouga Mbella also leads the scorers chat with 21 goals and, he is on course to becoming the first foreigner to win the goal king award in Ghana.
Bottom side Elmina Sharks who will play Division One football next season, holds the worst defensive record in the competition with 55 goals conceded. They also have scored 22 goals which is the least number in the competition.
There have been 16 penalties missed so far this campaign and, seven own goals have been scored up until now.
Goalkeeper Abdulai Iddrisu of Bechem United has kept the most clean sheets, (18) in the competition and, he has clearly established himself as the best in the position this season.
Asante Kotoko defender Imoro Ibrahim has the most assists in the competition having helped nine times to the goals the champions have scored.
These statistics are bound to change this weekend when the curtain is drawn on a campaign that has been quite exciting on all fronts.
