“Hearts of Oak Are Nowhere Near Great Olympics” – Saint Osei

The Public Relations Officer of Accra Great Olympics, Emmanuel Saint Osei, has insisted the Accra based side has identified the wrongs in the clubs recent defeats in the Ghana Premier League.

Osei, then acknowledged that structures are being put in place for rightful recovery. “What is wrong has been identified but it’s not for public consumption. What actually hit us for us to even lose a game in our own home grounds. We have found out but it’s not for public consumption , we just want to work around it after our last match because of security reasons”, he noted. Osei, bragged on the club’s financial strength and stressed it nearly had effect on the minds of the administrative members of the team. “At a point in time, we were thinking that it was maybe as a result of monies that we were giving to them that they were not able to perform.

Not even Kotoko pay earlier or pay bonuses than Great Olympics. Apart from the normal bonuses we were paying, we put in a structure that we were targeting a certain position. Draw or win players of Great Olympics were earning aside their bonuses plus their salaries, there was an extra bonus of structure that these boys taking”. Osei, further stressed on the team’s readiness for the last game for the 2021/2022 season against city rival, Accra Hearts of Oak.

“Everything is on course. Excerpt that the publicity has been very low. I don’t know whether is because of our performance of late but I still believe that we will have a very good match. Today, tomorrow isn’t bad. We still can do one or two to whip up the interest for this particular game”, he concluded.
