The Security and Intelligence analyst, Paul Boateng in an interview with Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah on a television program titled “Abranaa so” reacts to the civilians who are always seen threatening their colleagues with a gun on the road.
Civilians in possession of ammunition are becoming rare in the country and if the government did not take the necessary actions towards the act, the situation will get out of hand.
Paul Boateng reveals that the government in the first place can not take action against the civilians in possession of ammunition because they fall victim to the act.
The ministers and the other government have ammunition on them because they believe it holds power against the citizens and truly, that is what they use to threaten the citizens during the elections.
Paul Boateng said although the National Authorities must make sure no civilians own ammunition, they can not do anything to curb the situation unless the government takes action against them.
