With the Summer Transfer Window approaching and most of the European Leagues on break, several clubs now have the opportunity to bring in additional players to provide competition for the existing squad, likewise sell also and on such note here are transfer updates on Ghana players.

Alexander Djiku

Heavily linked to Sevilla a few days ago as a replacement to first-team departure Diego Carlos to Aston Villa, Djiku per report sighted has opted to stay in France rather than moving elsewhere ahead of summer. The 27-year-old is understood to have received an offer from league rivals Stade Rennais who are keen on replacing him with soon-to-depart Moroccan international Nayef Aguerd to West Ham United.

An opportunity for the Ghanaian center-back to play in the UEFA Champions League for the first time in his professional career with the Spanish outfit, he has reportedly rejected the move and might sign with Stade Rennais in the coming days who will are contesting in the UEFA Europa League next season.

Aminu Mohammed

A lot of potential growing up which led Manchester City to splash cash of €2M for his service five years ago, the Ghanaian wunderkind has reportedly been cut loose by the English champions ahead of the summer due to failed expectations. Compared to Brazilian Neymar back in Ghana with West African Football Academy due to his dribbling skills and scoring abilities, the 21-year-old failed to live up to such a reputation in Europe as loan spells with Dutch side NAC Breda and Belgian second-tier side Lommel SK were unsuccessfully prompting the English side to set him free.

Emmanuel Ntim

Contract runs to June 30th, 2022, the Ghanaian dynamic defender is reportedly to have two options at hand either to extend with his current club Valenciennes or seal a transfer move to league rivals – SM Caen, in the French Ligue 2. Joined the French outfit in 2018, the 26-year-old has been a regular starter and one of the key defenders of the club who helped finished three places above relegation last season – sighting 36 games, scoring twice and keeping 10 clean sheets.
