The Executive Director of Africa Educational Watch, Mr. Kofi Asare has shared some pictures of a deplorable classroom in the Northern side of the country. According to him the picture was taken by the EduWatch team.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Tuesday, 7th June 2022, he revealed.
According to him, the picture is a class room in a school called Mogniegu DA JHS Zabzugu District. Mr. Asare revealed that there are about 5,000 of such schools across Ghana.
“I know we are a rich nation but government alone cannot do all, considering other important investments.” The Executive Director of EduWatch said.
“Even though e-levy is supposed to solve all these as promised , lets also support. Kindly contact Ghana Education Service.” Kofi Asare solicited for support.
Many people reacted to the deplorable condition of the classroom. Some asserted that, Ghana is seriously investing money into the National Cathedral Project to the neglect of basic infrastructures for schools
He also shared a picture of a urinal and toilet of other school where each was not in good working conditions
Others also bemoaned the poor working conditions in the school.
