Sporting Director of Accra Lions, Ibrahim Tanko is already eying a better performance next season.
The premier league debutants have retained their top flight status after beating Berekum Chelsea 2-0 in week 32 at the Accra Sports Stadium last weekend. They lie 10th on the league table with 44 points heading into the last two games of the season and Tanko cannot wait to fully start next season.
“I think it’s our philosophy you know this is the kind of football we want to play with the boys. “Even though we knew it was not going to be easy in the first year but we stuck with our type of football we want to play.
“So as I said, I’m happy for them, they are young, this is the first season and definitely the next season will be more tough and we are going to prepare very well so that we face the next season.” Ibrahim Tanko told StarTimes.
