The New Patriotic Party Chairman has passed some strong remarks about Ghana’s economy and many Ghanaians are already talking about his speech on Accra-based GH one TV. He explained that despite the difficulties in the country, the economy has remained extremely strong due to the strong economic management systems instilled by the government of the New Patriotic Party.
Freddie Blay also explained that there is no perfect government and he made reference to the popular adage that,’ in every home, there is a bad one ‘. However, he was quick to add that any government where its officials are eager to make quicker wealth would make mistakes and that his party was against corrupt practices.
When asked by the journalist if there could be a stronger party aside from the NPP and NDC, Mr. Blay’s response was very technical. The NPP Chairman also admitted that NPP and NDC are the main political parties at the moment but there can be a third force in the future. Do you think NPP has managed the economy well? What are your thoughts on what the NPP Chairman said? In your own view, can there be any government without a trace of corrupt officials?
