Akufo-Addo’s Government Is Not Against Small-scale Mining – Samuel Abu Jinapor

The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources and the Member of Parliament for the Damongo Constituency, Samuel Abu Jinapor reveals that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government is never against the small-scale mining in Ghana but rather irresponsible small-scale mining.

According to Samuel Abu Jinapor, small-scale mining helps people to earn a living so some countries like Canada, South Africa, China, and even the United States of America (USA) are practicing it peacefully but the miners in Ghana pollute our water bodies, and destroy our lands after mining.

Samuel Abu Jinapor said Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government has brought solutions to curb the pollution of water bodies and the destruction of lands since he has realized that the extraction of gold from the ore put our natural resources in danger.

Samuel Abu Jinapor went ahead to reveal the solution and it is the mercury-free gold equipment.

Samuel Abu Jinapor said the mercury-free gold equipment will help the miners put a stop to the polluting of water bodies and the destruction of lands which means Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is not against small-scale mining in Ghana.
