Alan And Bawumia Storms The Funeral Of The Wife Of The Late Aliu Mahama

Today, the funeral for the Late Hajia Rahmatu Aliu Mahama was held and the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo, led the government’s delegation to the funeral. Present at the funeral was Former President, John Agyekum Kuffuor, The Chief Imam, Sheikh Nuhu Sharabutu, the Former Speaker of Parliament, Mike Ocquaye amongst other top NPP Bigwigs.

The interesting part was that, the two contenders for the flagbearer position in the New Patriotic Party stormed the funeral in style. Alan went in his capacity as Trade Minister and an old standing member of the New Patriotic Party. Whiles Bawumia went in his capacity as a Vice President.

There is a high probability that Alan had had more contacts with the Late Rahmatu Aliu Mahama because of his “ties” to the Former President, John Agyekum Kuffuor. His Excellency Bawumia also has an exceptional relationship with the late Second Lady; they were both Muslims.
