Giovanni Caleb remains one of Ghana’s best presenters on National Television and his showbiz 360 programme is one of the most watched shows.
Many Ghanaians were thrilled to see one of the finest musicians with Giovanni and they could not wait to watch the entire discussion as Skrewfaze was on top of what he does best.
He explained how he came in to the limelight at a time when there was ‘crunk’ music from the likes of Asem, Okyeame Kwame ,4×4 and other great musicians .
Skrewfaze said he beat the odds at that time and released the ‘all time favourite fast moving’ gbalagazaa which many did not understand the song because he combined the local languages as well as francophone beats .
The legend also recounted how he took inspiration from Freddy Meiway’s ‘zoblazo’ song . He said Ghanaians are not interested in the lyrics of the francophone songs but are rather moved by the beats or rhythms of these songs and this is how he triumphed during his days .
When the TV host Giovanni asked Skrewfaze to mention his top three musicians in the country, the answer was amazing as Giovanni listed Kuami Eugene, Fameye and Blakk Sherrif.
Giovanni made a special appeal to Ghanaians to celebrate legendary entertainers like the ‘gbalagazaa’ hitzmaker Skrewfaze whilst they dance to the tunes from the younger generation.
Skrewfaze gave his fans a feel of his raps ,songs and dance moves .
On the same show, Guru and Gasmilla made their appearance and they both shared what they are currently doing .
Guru is currently a level 100 student reading Political science and Information studies at the University of Ghana whilst Gasmilla is currently a fashion designer. Guru explained that it has been tedious combining his music to the study of Information studies and Political sciences. He invited his fans to an upcoming show with his friend, Lilwin. Guru encouraged the youth to take their education very seriously. Guru explained that he went back to school due to the essence of education.
Gasmilla, who is generally known as the Azonto dance originator, explained to Giovanni Caleb about why he intentionally lost weight . According to Gasmilla, he did some exercises to keep up his shape for stage performances .
