Paul Kagame, the Rwandan politician and former military leader, also the fourth and current president of Rwanda throwback photo surfaces online while he was a student at Ntare Secondary School.

President Paul Kagame of Rwanda studied at Ntare school, one of the best schools in Uganda, which was also the alma mater of future Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, he also went to Makerere university in Uganda. President Paul Kagame spent 30 years of his life in Uganda as refugee. This was after Kagame’s family abandoned their home and lived for two years in the far northeast of Rwanda and eventually crossing the border into Uganda due to the Tutsi and Hutu civil war crisis.

While in Uganda he married and joined Museveni’s army and they took power in Uganda, museveni helped him capture power and restore tranquility in Rwanda where he is still serving as a president. Under Kagame leadership national development was prioritized, launching programmes which have led to development on key indicators healthcare, education and economic growth.

Today Africa’s cleanest city can be found in Rwanda (Kigali) and women equality is highly encouraged and practiced.
