Welcome to my page for yet another time. I will be sharing with you about a response thst a member of parliament gave to Speaker of parliament, Bagbin when he was finding it difficult to identify him.
The parliament is the legislative arm of government. Inside the parliament house, members of parliament deliberate on issues and make the necessary laws for the interest of Ghanaians. Mr Atta-Mills who is a member of parliament rose up today to add his voice to an issue on the floor of parliament. The speaker was not able to recognise him so he asked who he was. Atta-Mills replied that the current economic hardship in the country has made it difficult for him to afford a blade to shave his beard.
Even though he made that comment jokingly, do you think the current economic situation is has worsen to it’s lowest point? Let me know your thoughts in the comments section. Have a great day.
