All social media platforms has been flooded with a pending demonstration which will take off from 4th June 2022 to 7th June 2022. The details of the demonstration is to send humble appeal to the government of Ghana over hardship, corruption and difficulties Ghanaians are facing under the leadership of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo.
Captain Smart, Okatakyie Mensah Afrifa, Oliver Barker and others are the organizer’s of this demonstrations. According to the organizers of the demonstration, they going to be armed whilst embarking on the demonstration. This strategy from the demonstrators have raised a number of concerns on social media
The Ghana Police Service through the Inspector General of the Ghana Police Service IGP Dr George Akuffo Dampare has send a humble reply to the organizers of June 4th Demonstration. According to the police release, there is no way they are going to allow the demonstrators to embark on the demonstration with weapons.
It is therefore appropriate for the demonstrators through their organizer’s to reconsider their proposal before June 4th. This will be a big challenge and trouble to Captain Smart and his squad as they have only 2 days to reconsider their proposal before demonstration will commence on June 4th 2022.
