Pastor Urges President To Stay Neutral In Dr Bawumia And Allan Kyeremateng’s Presidential Ambitions

The founder and leader of the Soldiers of Christ Prayer Group of All Churches located at Kronum Aboahyia in the Ashanti Region, Apostle Dr Dirl Airl King Marshal has stressed the need for President Nana Akuffo Addo to stay neutral in the presidential ambitions of both the Vice President Dr Alhaji Bawumiah and the Trade Minister Mr Allan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng to avoid any suspicion in the public terrain.

The Apostle was reacting to an alleged public comments that suggest that President Akuffo Addo is backing the Vice president Dr Bawumia to win the incoming presidential candidates race of the Npp, to enable winner to contest for the 2024 general elections. 

King Marshal noted that if the allegations are true the President should back out or change his decision since the move can create divisions within the rank and file of the party when the issue is later founded to be true.

The clergy underscored that both Bawumia and Allan are popular and matured politicians of whom both know how to campaign and win credible elections.

According to the clergy the president though have his liberty to campaign and support anyone who have the intention to become the presidential candidate of the Npp, such freedom must have limitation on the reason that as a father of a political party and moreover a president of the Republic, an alleged open support for crony’s political ambition is unacceptable.

Let’s allow the two gentlemen to do their own things and instead support the winner in the Npp’s presidential candidates elections to contest in the 2024 general elections, the man of God asserted.

Apostle Airl Dirl King Marshal was of the view that the president will stay neutral from both Dr Bawumia and Allan Kyeremanteng’s presidential ambitions to avoid public suspicion.
