Kotoko supporters must stop the propaganda

Since the joining of Nana Yaw Amponsah at Kumasi Asante Kotoko, the supporters, management and media friends have always blamed the Ghana Football Association for anything that goes wrong at the camp of the Porcupine Warriors.

The recent call-up for the Local Black Stars team to play the CHAN qualifiers featured some players from both Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak but the question raised is, why would a Kotoko coach invite more players from the opposite side while his team is leading the ongoing league.

This season, the best players for Kotoko have been foreigners and the few called to the Local Black Stars are the deserving ones. In Kotoko’s lineup this season, the most consistent ones are Mfegue, Etouga, Danlad, and Ibrahim Moro. To some extent, Fabio Gama.

In this case, the statement below by Kotoko supporters is uncalled for. Such statements are pure propaganda.

“Kotoko Coach Dr. Ogum was not aware of the final lists of Local Black squad released yesterday. Recommendations he made as requested by the head coach especially some Kotoko players were omitted from the final lists

“He is focused on winning the league nothing more.”
