The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin has said Parliament is broke and has no money to run the business of the House.
This, he said was due to the delay by the Ministry of Finance to release the needed funds to Parliament.
“Parliament is currently being run on arrears and the House should not be treated like one of the Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs)”, he said.
Mr Bagbin said this on the floor of the House Thursday morning.
