Oliver Barker Vormawor has revealed a deep secret about how some people go to jail without having any knowledge about what is happening around them.
Oliver Barker Vormawor edges all Ghanaians to hear what he has witnessed in the court of law in Ghana. He wants all the people to know that, most of the people who are being judged in court are not fairly treated and judged. This is because he claims he has seen many people in court who are being judged without any legal representation. He also added that he has watched these people being asked to cross examine witnesses and every time he tells himself that, the courts of this country, Ghana are not courts and the criminal justice system is also not a justice system.
Those people he watched in court that were being treated unfairly, have no understanding of what is happening. ” We are herding people to jail because we are putting them in a situation that cannot possibly comprehend”, Vormawor stated.
Oliver Barker Vormawor explained that, it is not justice when you put people who are so ignorant of the processes of the court of law that you are putting them through, you jail them and claim you have given them fair trial. Infact, there are persons who are being tried for murder yet have no lawyer to stand for them in court. My fellow Ghanaians, how is this system just?
People do not understand the laws nor the practices of the court of law, yet they are allowed to go through court trials, this is not justice, this is actually leading people to slaughter. Truly speaking, nobody, I repeat nobody who goes through a criminal court trial without a Lawyer obtains fair trial. Oliver Barker Vormawor concluded.
