The Achimota Forest Saga issue is still boiling and today one of the members who belong to the Owoo family shows up on a TV3 new day program to clear the air about the Owoo family owning some portion of the land.

According to the Osu traditional council representative Nii Ogli Kwaw, the Owoo family don’t have any portion of the land but some individuals in the family are using the name to claim some part of the land for their benefit.

He mentioned the name of the Odododiodio constituency Member of Parliament Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye and some members who have formed a team to claim some lands that the traditional council don’t even know anything about.

Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye was called on a phone and he also reveals what Nii Kwaw was talking about is not true but it is the Osu traditional council who is claiming lands everywhere in the Ga traditional area. According to Vanderpuye if Nii Kwaw thinks what he has said is not true they should meet in court.
