Team Bawumia Defeats Team Alan In NPP UK Branch Election | Politics

The UK NPP election which looked like a 2 man race before the vote on Sunday, May 22, ended with one candidate badly bruised a when Dr.Bawumia’s man ( Wofa K ) floored with ease a member of Alan’s kitchen cabinet called Andy Owusu.
 
Events before the poll suggested a keen contest between Team Dr. Bawumia and Team Alan on who will take over the chairmanship of the NPP UK.
 
As is usual with Team Alan, their supporters generated a cacophony of bombast about Andy Owusu’s impending ‘victory’, flooding social media,  especially Facebook and Whatsapp pages with artworks and write ups about their candidate
 
But in the end, it was a drubbing for Team Alan, akin to the rematch between the legendary Azumah Nelson and Jeff Fenech.
 
Wofa K from Dr. Bawumia’s camp did not only win the popular votes but won in almost all the chapters.
 
The results have cemented the opinion that NPP UK firmly believes Dr. Bawumia is the next and best to lead NPP into the 2024 elections.
