FC Samartex needs two wins from their final 5 matches to secure qualification to the GPL

National Division One League, DOL campaigners FC Samartex needs two wins from their final five matches to secure qualification to the Ghana Premier League, GPL next season.

The timber giants lead the standing in the DOL Zone Two campaign by nine points from second placed Ebusua Dwarfs and will book passage to the Elite Division if they can take six points from the final 15 available.

They’ll next play Achiken FC in a home game at the Samartex Stadium, Samraboi on Wednesday afternoon and, they will be huge favourites to collect the three points against the relegation strugglers.

It is expected to be a massive turn out by the home fans tomorrow afternoon on home soil as they go in search of the three points that will move them a step closer to their dream of securing a top-flight spot.

After tomorrow’s game with Achiken FC, Samartex will then play Swedru All Blacks in an away encounter at the weekend where a win will secure them the qualification if they win both games.

After the All Blacks game, Samartex will return home to play Sekondi Hasaacas with their last two games coming up against Future Stars FC, (away) and a final home game with New Edubiase United.

That final fixture with New Edubiase United will be a big atmosphere at the Samartex Stadium, Samraboi as they hope to have qualified by then to the GPL.
