Raymond Ablorh a Social media activist and former Communications Manager at Airtel Ghana, has descended on the Church of Pentecost for being silent on its corrupt members.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Saturday, 14th May 2022, Raymond wrote;
“Joseph Siaw Agyapong aka Jospong, the owner of Zoomlion, a always caught in corruption scandals involving public resources plundering is an Elder of The Church of Pentecost.Â
But, The Church of Pentecost doesn’t care about such corruption matters involving his companies that keep coming up. Maybe that too is part of the possessing the nations agenda.”
He continued that in fact, the church considers all those scandalous wealth amassing schemes that Manasseh Azure Awuni ‘s investigations have revealed over the years as God’s blessings. And, such rich members donate a lot of monies to the church.Â
Could we look into the face of God and tell him that we don’t know the wrongs going on here? Some are too rich and too powerful to be talked about or questioned but the God of Pentecost is a respector of no man. He quizzed.
“Nhwihwenim nyamesum.
You people would’ve killed Jesus Christ faster or earlier than the Pharasees did. You love the world and the things of this world so much that you betray Jesus and God everyday.
Anyway, I’m not better than you. We need healing and revival to accept the unblemished truth the Saviour preached.
I am for peace but.
And, you, touch not me, the anointed.Â
You’ve got to be anointed to say things like this.Â
Church is quick to associate with such minor or usual positives which, is supposed to be our lifestyle then one could question them for the bigger morally questionable phenomena some of their elders and leaders are involved in.
In our society, this is undone.
I know. In our society, things like this aren’t said in public.
I know.So, forgive me. Raymond Ablorh ended.
The write up of Raymond comes as a background to the Church of Pentecost who celebrated the taxi driver who returned 8,400 to the trader as being an examplarly member of the church.
