Reigning artiste of the year at the just-ended Vodafone Ghana Awards, Dennis Nana Dwamena, widely known as Kidi has bagged a new ambassadorial deal with KFC Ghana.

It would be vividly recalled that the singer bagged five awards during the award show including the overall artiste of the year after she was denied access to that prestigious award last year when she lost to the gospel musician, Diana Hamilton.
Kidi during the evening of mind-blowing performance and awarding musicians for their excellence walked home with five awards, namely; Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year, Album/EP of the year, Best Afrobeat/Afropop artiste of the year, Best Reggae/Dancehall song of the year with “Touch It”, and the Overall Artiste of the year.
Well, after his big win, the Afropop crooner has inked a new ambassadorial deal with worldwide fast food restaurant, KFC.

In other news, Ghanaian singer, AK Songstress has set records straight that she happens to be one of the biggest names as far as African music is concerned.
She made these claims during an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay Show, saying that her claims have been certified since the release of her breakthrough song “Jonathan”.
She stated that her song did not take that much time to garner fame and popularity in the country but became an instant hit in most African countries in the world and she watched videos of people singing her song word for word.
The Afro-dancehall musician also stated that her manager has made a lot of profits to cover up for all the losses he made through the seven years of managing her brand since ‘Jonathan” happened to be the only song that made her rise to fame.
