Occasions like this bring to mind the women who are able to produce children to become national asset or useful to their country, Community and Society. Today sunday 8th May 2022 happens to be the day set aside to celebrate all mothers across the globe. But it is prudent that we still celebrate some individuals whose Ghanaians have benefited from their children.
The first woman to come in mind is the Biological mother of the current President His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo.

Adeline Sylvia Eugenia Ama Yeboakua Akufo Addo gave birth to His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo. Akuffo Addo’s Mother (Adeline Eugenia Ama Yeboakua) died at Korle-Bu teaching Hospital in Accra on 21st March 2004. Nana Addo’s Mother died at the age of 86.
The second woman that we celebrate today is the biological mother of Former President John Dramani Mahama.

Abiba Nnaba gave birth to former President John Dramani Mahama. Madam Abiba Nnaba was a devout muslim. She died on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. President Mahama’s Mother (Abiba Nnaba) died at the age of 85 years old. She was buried in her hometown Busunu in the West Gonja District of the Northern Region of Ghana.
We will forever remember Adeline Ama Yeboakua Eugenia ( Nana Addo’s Mother) and Abiba Nnaba (Mahama’s Mother) as we celebrate all mothers today.
