The Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has recently taken the privilege to send another brilliant message to the incumbent President, Nana Akufo Addo over the impact of the NPP’s flagship program that has undoubtedly improved the lives of most students in the country.
Speaking at a recent conference, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II highlighted that, even though the Free SHS policy has been a blessing to most Ghanaian needy but brilliant students, the flagship program has however caused more harm than good to the national budget and funds needed to create jobs for the unemployed youth.
“Considering the value of education to the nation, this must be one of the boldest policies of the nation but it also brings its challenges. It puts a huge strain on the national budget and raises further challenges regarding the creation of jobs for the increasing number of graduates. I am sure the brain assembly and beyond will reassure that Ghana is on the right path”, Otumfuo Osei Tutu emphatically stated.
