Different businessmen all around the world were eager to purchase the club. Sir Jim Ratcliff, Todd Boehly and many others were all very keen to purchase the club. In the end, it has been announced by the club that, Todd Boehly and his consortium have signed a deal to buy the club for an amount worth $4.9bn.
