Try these kente styles on your special day and leave your groom in shock.

There is a popular saying that goes that “Where there is love there is life.” This means love is life and life is love.

Another beautiful saying goes “I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate then when I fall asleep your eyes close.”

Wooow, isn’t love a beautiful and amazing thing?

Yes, love is a very beautiful thing, although recently love isn’t so easy to come by, many people go through a lot and finally find the one they are willing to spend the rest of the lives with. Not to say life will be perfect but they are will to risk everything for love.

Marriage, also called matrimony or wedlock is what comes next after finding love, this is after many dates and courtship. Marriage is a culturally and often legally recognized union between spouses (man and woman). It establishes rights and obligations between them, as well as between them and their children, and between them and their in-laws.

In Ghana there is a traditional marriage and the white wedding, today I am coming to talk about the traditional marriage and the kind of dresses used.

Kente, beautiful and popular kente is a Ghanaian textile, made of handwoven cloth, strips of silk and cotton.

Weaving kente cloth is a cultural tradition of the Asante (also known as Ashanti) people, and these fabrics were originally used exclusively to dress their kings and their courts. Each block, pattern, and color has a distinct name and meaning, and the cloth often includes adinkra symbols, which represent concepts or wise sayings.

One of the reasons Kente cloth is so popular around the world is because two people can wear the cloth, and without saying a word, they can communicate with one another. Amazing right?

Today, I bring you Kente designs and styles you can wear as a bride to wow your groom, let’s get into it.

What do you think?
