Nifa Senior High School is one of the top notches secondary schools in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The school made history in 2016’s National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) after eliminating Achimota Senior High and Holy Child School in the one-eighth stage of the competition.
Well, it’s a normal thing for first years in every senior high school in Ghana to go through a process that they call ‘Hormos Day’ which is normally translated into our local dialect as ‘Homo Dwan’.
During this period, the first-year students (freshmen) are dressed by their seniors and made to display their dance skills and any other sort of abilities they have and these are done according to their houses.
